Filmantica is HEXAVO's own film and TV guide for India, built around one question: what can I watch free, right now, without breaking any rules?

Streaming availability changes constantly — licences start and end every week — and a 'Free' badge that turns out to be wrong is the one mistake that would sink the site's credibility. Keeping more than a thousand titles accurate had to fit a tightly capped data budget, whatever the traffic.

   Built a catalogue of more than a thousand films and series showing every legal way to stream, rent or buy each one, compared in one place.

   Designed an availability pipeline that re-checks the titles checked longest ago on a rolling schedule, so the whole catalogue is refreshed about every two weeks within a fixed budget.

   Served pages from a stored copy of the data rather than live requests, so costs scale with the catalogue, not with visitors.

   Organised discovery around what people actually ask: free to watch, just released, just changed, genres, industries and hand-picked lists.

   Wrote in-depth guides to free and subscription streaming in India to earn search traffic.
